Friends of Ballakilpheric Chapel

A warm welcome. We believe that every action matters and that by banding together, we can provide possibilities for everyone and establish a community of hope. By offering events and activities that create a genuine and long-lasting effect on Ballakilpheric, we hope to contribute and strengthen the local community.

Services and Events

We have services every 1st and 3rd Sunday in the month. It consists of hymns, prayers, and Bible readings. Which is followed by refreshments.

Community events are held in either the chapel or school room (hall). The events range from family bingo, film nights, and matinees for children, guest speakers, cultural evenings, coffee mornings, groups, and choirs. Details of events coming up can be found on the events page.

Our Mission

With God’s guidance, we commit to nurturing a warm and welcoming environment where all can feel included and valued. Together, we aim to strengthen our chapel family, foster a sense of belonging through shared events and fellowship, and reach out to our rural community with kindness and open hearts. Through these efforts, we hope to inspire and encourage more people to join us in worship and grow in faith.

Restoration of the Chapel and Community Hub

Phase one

The repairs for the first phase is to get the building in a position to be safe and warm. The works carried out is in no particular order but is all part of the first phase.

 

  • Electrical safety inspection
  • Repair the drains
  • Complete the repairs to the outside of the building.
  • Heating in the School Room (Community Hall)
  • New solid floor floor in the School Room (Community Hall)
