Join as a Friend of the Chapel

A Subscription Membership of the Friends of the Chapel is open to anyone who would like to join. Membership  is aimed at but not limited those described below.

• Anyone who wishes to see the building there for future generations for whatever reason.
• Anyone who wants to have the chapel available for family occasions or have been pleased to use the services offered, for example weddings, baptisms, funerals and hall hire, but do not worship regularly in the chapel.
• Anyone who may not a member of the chapel but are happy to support the upkeep of a historic and beautiful building.
• Anyone who sees the village chapel as part of the rural scene and wish to see its continued use and existence.
• Anyone who has family ties in the parish or have used the church in some way in the past, but have now moved away.

Membership helps us to reach our objectives listed below.

• To help towards the cost of repair and the preservation of the fabric of the chapel.
• To help with the future cost of repairs.
• To help towards the cost of the replacement of the electric heating.
• To enable personal services for the promotion of the above purposes.

Benefits of membership

• We will aim to arrange at least three entertaining and informative events each year for Friends. Please keep an eye on ‘News & Events’ on the website and Facebook page!
• The latest copy of the Ballakilpheric Chapel News emailed to your mails box.
• Advanced notifications of special church services.

We try to keep the administration to a minimum so that nearly all the membership subscriptions and donated income can be dedicated to the restoration and maintenance of Ballakilpheric Chapel.
