The day went exceptionally well, featuring children’s sports on the field opposite the chapel at 1.30pm. We extend our thanks to Rosie at Pooil
Vaaish stone engravers for providing engraved commemorative coasters for all the race winners, as well as for presenting the chapel with a commemorative plaque during the service.
The weather was grey but warm, aside from a few patchy light showers that did not affect the Order of Service. The service was
conducted by Rev. Dr. Janet Corlett, who will serve as our minister.
We extend our gratitude to the Rushen Silver Band, who performed several musical pieces before the service and accompanied the hymns.
played additional selections both during and at the conclusion of the service. A special thanks goes to all those who helped make sandwiches
and cakes for the refreshments that were served in the schoolroom, and we cut an anniversary cake made by Rachel Evens.
